COCKTAIL RECEPTION WITH US AMBASSADOR KRISTIE KENNEY

Members of the AAP Board of Trustees hosted a cocktail reception to welcome the new US Ambassador to the Philippines, Ambassador Kristie Kenney, May 25 at Rowell’s residence, Makati City.

US Ambassador Kristie Kenney accepts the honorary chairmanship of the AAP from  AAP President Glendon Rowell.

 

AAP Board Member and Events Chair Renee Speltz accepts a Certificate of Recognition from US Ambassador Kristie Kenney for her humanitarian efforts in the American and Filipino community. Mrs. Speltz chaired AAP’s events: the US Independence Day 4th of July event last year, and this year’s George Washington Birthnight Ball.  Mrs. Speltz is also chair of the Philippine Canine Search and Rescue Association.

A number of AAP beneficiaries were also introduced to the Ambassador at the Reception. Shown from left to right – Michael Nathaniel Campbell, recent high school graduate; Karina Fuston, Computer Systems college graduate and Michael Anthony Roy, grade school graduate.
