Turnover of Microfiche Copies for the American Historical CollectionMicrofiche copies of books filmed at the Library of
Congress in Jakarta, Indonesia (which were kept at the Thomas
Jefferson Library for storage) were turned over to the AAP. The
turnover was held June 22 at the T. Jefferson Library, US Embassy
Manila. AAP will examine the quality and condition of the fiches,
which later to be transferred to the AHC Library, Rizal Library,
Ateneo De Manila University.  Picture above shows US Embassy's
Counselor for Public Affairs Lee Mc Clenny (4th from left) hand over
the documents to AAP President Glendon Rowell. Other attendees who witnessed the turnover were: AHC Committee Chair Doyle Stout, Thomas Jefferson Librarian Nora Conti, AAP Past President Robert Lane, AAP Board members Leslie Murray and Reynaldo De Jesus and AHC Librarian Waldette Cueto. |
